Description
75cm Lotus Wind Gong
The 75cm Lotus Wind Gong is a striking, handcrafted-style gong combining a rich, resonant sound with an elegant lotus design. Its almost-flat Wind Gong profile allows the playing surface to respond freely, creating a broad, shimmering sound with layers of harmonics and a long, evolving resonance.
The gong features a beautiful black and gold finish, with an intricate lotus motif surrounding the outer area and a naturally textured, hammered-looking bronze centre. The combination of the dark background, golden detailing and warm metallic surface makes this gong as visually impressive as it is sonically expressive.
At 75cm (30"), it offers a substantial playing surface and is well suited to creating immersive soundscapes in larger spaces. Larger Wind Gongs generally produce a deeper and more powerful sound when played, while the flat construction allows the sound to spread freely and develop into a rich wash of overtones.
